Purpose: Charged with developing the overall water quality monitoring framework and strategy for Oklahoma.

• Establish goals for the state's monitoring program

• Improve efficiency of state monitoring programs

• Identify gaps in state monitoring programs

• Improve coordination of existing programs

• Assess the state's monitoring needs (e.g., public needs, agency needs, private needs, etc.)

• Compile list of federal and state statutory requirements/limitations for monitoring

• Establish calendar of "public access points" to the various monitoring programs

• Identify funding needs and all potential sources of funding for water quality monitoring

• Identify interstate concerns/issues with regard to water quality monitoring
