Purpose: Charged with developing the overall water quality monitoring framework and strategy for Oklahoma.
Improve efficiency of state monitoring programs
Identify gaps in state monitoring programs
Improve coordination of existing programs
Assess the state's monitoring needs (e.g., public needs, agency needs, private needs, etc.)
Compile list of federal and state statutory requirements/limitations for monitoring
Establish calendar of "public access points" to the various monitoring programs
Identify funding needs and all potential sources of funding for water quality monitoring
Identify interstate concerns/issues with regard to water quality monitoring
